"Together"

 2025 * R * 1h 42m Most horror movies are just so predictable. A couple flees the city and moves into an empty house. They soon start hearing weird noises and guess what? The place is haunted by some spirit of a person who was murdered there years ago. Well, that's not what happens in "Together". Exactly.  

Tim (Dave Franco; Neighbors) and Millie (Allison Brie; Community) leave the rat race of the city and rent a house out in the country. Then weird things start to happen. One day while they're smooching, their lips stick together. A few nights later, Millie wakes up to discover Tim has swallowed half of her long hair! Things get creepier and creepier. A neighbor Jamie (Damon Herriman; Better Man) explains that there's an ancient philosophy that states that people are born with four arms and four legs and two heads. They're separated before birth and they spend the rest of their lives looking for their other half. 

That's all I'll say about the way the movie progresses. It certainly caught me by surprise. Let's just say it falls under the category of "Body Horror" and leave it at that.
