"Bokeh"

Incredible photography, great acting, and interesting story. A couple ends up in Iceland  on vacation, where it's an end of the world scenario. Everyone has disappeared, mysteriously, and the couple is totally on their own. So basically, they learn to fend for themselves. I love these types of movies, and this one is really well done.

"A Futile and Stupid Gesture"

A biopic about Doug Kenney,: one of the founders of the National Lampoon. If you're a fan of the magazine like I was, in my formative years, you'll love this movie. It's an inside look at what went on during the early years of one of the funniest humor mags of all times. Netscape hit another home run with this one!

"Lion"

Absolutely wonderful film. If you haven't heard about this movie, here's a quick plot summary: A five year old Indian boy is dropped off and abandoned at a train station. He hops on a train and is taken 500 miles from his home and family. He is eventually adopted by a loving Australian family. As an adult, his quest is to reconnect with his mother. Epic journey and movie.

"Fun Mom Dinner."

What a fun movie. I'm huge fan of so-called. "chick-flix." And this was one of the best I've seen in a while. Totally predictable, but with good acting, and a decent storyline. It held my attention right to the end. If you're up for an amusing 1 1/2 hours of great entertainment, this is one you might enjoy.

"Handsome: A Netflix original Mystery Movie"

I was in the mood for a dumb, funny movie, and this one delivered. It was a decent murder mystery plot, and the actors all rose to the occasion. The acting was great, offbeat in a good sort of way. The writing was pretty funny, and the storyline was predictable, but engaging. If you're in the mood to see something in the "Caddyshack" vein, check this one out.
